Your child’s activity level is Active. Children and adolescents should do 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of physical activity each day. Continue to encourage your child’s participation in structured activities and sports.

Moderate
Your child’s activity level is Moderate. Children and adolescents should do 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of physical activity each day. Continue to encourage your child’s participation in structured activities and sports, and make sure they are engaging in aerobic, muscle strengthening, and bone strengthening activities every day.
A WellBalance Camp session can help your child incorporate structured activity into their daily schedule. If your child’s current weight situation isn’t improving, they may well benefit from adding additional activity into their routine.
Sedentary
Your child’s activity level is Sedentary. Children and adolescents should engage in 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of physical activity each day. Encourage your child to participate in activities that are age-appropriate, enjoyable and offer variety.
Aerobic activity should make up most of your child's 60 or more minutes of physical activity each day. This can include either moderate-intensity aerobic activity, such as brisk walking, or vigorous-intensity activity, such as running. Be sure to include vigorous-intensity aerobic activity on at least 3 days per week. Include muscle strengthening activities, such as gymnastics or push-ups, at least 3 days per week as part of your child's 60 or more minutes. Include bone strengthening activities, such as jumping rope or running, at least 3 days per week as part of your child's 60 or more minutes.

Motivation:
Committed

Introducing your child to additional low calorie, low fat foods will increase your child’s healthy food repertoire, and the culinary classes taught at camp will give your child additional knowledge on how to prepare healthy foods.
Moderate
Your child’s eating habits need improvement. It is recommended that your child begin to make some changes in their eating habits in order to achieve improved health. These changes can be small and still have a lasting effect, such as switching from regular sodas to water, or swearing off French fries for a baked potato with fat free sour cream and butter substitute.
The National Academy of Sciences recommends the following calorie categories: 2,200 calories – Children and teenage girls currently at a healthy weight.
2,800 calories - Teenage boys at a current healthy weight.
Older children and teen girls should have at least 3 servings of fruit and 4 servings of vegetables each day.
Teen boys should have at least 4 servings of fruit and 5 servings of vegetables each day.
