Your Weight Loss Camp Menu Doesn’t Have to Sacrifice Taste for Health
You love math class, right? (No!?!) Well, here is some basic math to weight loss: if you want to lose weight, then calories OUT must be greater than calories IN. This can be modified in two ways—changing how much you eat and changing how many calories you burn (that means—get moving!). The mastery of this simple balance is the key to WellBalance's ME Plan.
Not all calories are created equal, though. There is a balance to the type and amount of food you eat. You will learn and practice this balance at our Virginia and California weight loss camps. And, while with us you will create your personal ME Plan for Home for continued success after camp ends.
You will eat delicious food, learn how to make healthier food choices, and practice your culinary skills by actually cooking food. Like our campers last year, you too can have SUCCESS!
"No Hunger Rule" The Food You Love in Healthy Way
We have to eat to live. Some people love food and certain types of foods. Some things are non-negotiable. People say things like, “I’m going to eat pizza. How do I do that, lose weight, and still be healthy?” During our Nutrition courses we will teach you how and then in our Culinary Classes you will make the food you love in a healthy way.
So you love pizza? In your ME Plan Diet & Culinary Program we will show you how to make a delicious, healthy pizza of your own—plus dozens of other great recipes you’ll try at camp and then can make at home.
The food part of the ME Plan is based on what is practical and realistic. You can't be hungry which is why we have a "No Hunger Rule". Every meal includes food served plus unlimited access to our Health Bar which includes salads, fruits, yogurts, and other foods that ensure you are full and satisfied while learning the balance of Calories IN and Calories OUT.
